For me, experiencing
and thinking about color invigorates life in an increasingly fast-paced
and disposable world. I have tried to make paintings that are objects
of subtle and energetic color; explore a language worth listening
to. The simplicity of the rectangle seemed best suited for these
explorations. Hopefully the paintings are a pause in time, a private
place where a viewer can bask in the vitality and soothingness of
color and its adventures.
