STRAWBERRY
FROZEN MARGARITA

My favorite drink, of course...

Ingredients: 2 oz Tequila, 1 oz Lime Juice, 1 oz Triple Sec, 1 cup ice, and strawberries or strawberry mix.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender at high speed. Pour into a margarita glass and garnish with lime slice.

THELIMERECIPE

Ingredients: Lots of Ice, a bottle of Sweet and Sour Mix, a big bottle of Tequila, some Triple Sec or Grand Marnier The Secret Ingredient: Lime marmalade and of course, a blender.

How to make it:
1. Start with the Sweet and Sour mix. While pouring, count to three (a three count)
2. Now a six count of tequila
3. A two count of triple sec
4. Add three big tablespoons of lime marmalade
5. Whip up this stuff until thoroughly blended (about six seconds)
6. Now add enough ice to fill up blender three quarters full. Blend on the highest speed until frothy.
7. Pour yourself a cup to make sure it's perfect (it will be), then share the rest!

MOJITO

An integral part of the Cuban experience is rum. It forms the staple of many Cuban drinks, including the mojito. Indeed, it was Ernest Hemingway, the famous (or perhaps infamous) 20th Century American novelist who said simply... "Mi mojito in La Bodeguita, Mi Daiquiri in La Floridita."
Ingredients: 1 tsp. of sugar 1 oz. of limejuice 3 oz. of mineral water, 6-8 mint leaves 2 oz. of White Rum
Recipe: Combine limejuice, mint, and sugar. Crush with a pestle. Add rum. Fill with ice cubes. Top with water. Stir briefly Garnish with mint Serve with straw.

CUBAN PRESIDENT

Ingredients: 1/2 oz. of Rum. 1/2 oz. of Vermouth. Drops of Curacao. Drops of Grenadine.
Stir and add cherry, a peel of orange and serve in a Manhattan glass.

CUBA LIBRE
a.k.a. Rum and Coke

Ingredients: 2 ounces Rum, 5 ounces cola 1 lime slice
Pour the Rum and the cola into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Mix well and squeeze lime slice over the drink and drop it inside.

You can't legally buy Havana Club rum in the states, but I guarantee you it's real smooth.
